This week, Serena and I created a template for the catalog in google slides. We also were accepted to the AMSS in January so yay! We were able to finish going through all the harbor porpoise photos of 2022. I think there might be some images from Carly during the summer 2022 that we don't have yet, but we will continue to look.

This weekend I got to go out in the field with Sam for her internship. Boy oh boy, that is truly the Alaskan wilderness. As a passenger princess, clutching to Sam, we road out on 4 wheelers down a massive mountain, across the mudflats, on top of frozen streams, and through the narrow dense forest. We hiked around 9 miles in weighters trudging through the water, falling through ice, and ducking and jumping our way through the forest brush. It was intense, but it was beautiful. We retrieved 3 sensors and put out an additonal 3 at different locations. Driving back in the darkness due to a 4:30pm sunset was slightly nerve-racking, but an incredible overall.
